Sharp Mail Order Pharmacy: Pre-Order

If you have signed up for Sharp Health Plan both Non-Medicare and Medicare, you can set up your mail order prescriptions prior to the 8/1 start date.

For Non-Medicare: Non Medicare enrollees and covered dependents can set up their mail-order service effective 8/1/20. The mail order pharmacy is called CVS/Caremark.  You can visit them at caremark.com.  CVS/Caremark offers convenient, responsive service with a two-day processing turnaround time for most prescriptions. They offer phone and internet refill ordering, including toll-free pharmacist consultations, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 800-552-8159.  You will need your member ID number which is located on your ID card. If you have not received your ID card, please call SDPEBA at 888-315-8027 or email support@sdpeba.org.

For Medicare (Sharp Direct Advantage): Medicare enrollees and covered Medicare dependents can set up their mail-order service prior to the 8/1/20 effective date.  The mail order pharmacy is called Postal Prescription Services (PPSRx).  You can visit them online by clicking here PPSRx ONLINE, or call them at 1-800-552-6694.  Prescriptions would be mailed on or after 8/1, but you can coordinate with PPSRx ahead of the effective date.  You will need your member ID number which is located on your ID card. If you have not received your ID card please call SDPEBA at 888-315-8027 or email support@sdpeba.org.
